![]() THAT'S THE POINT! Krillin had gotten stronger yet he still feels like he will lose. It's not just the bully, it was every competitor that came before he saw the bully. Saying Krillin is scared of guns and Videl wasn't doesn't prove that Videl > Krillin especially since Videl is capable of being killed by one.
>Ignores the fact that I posted feats proving that Krillin is practically superhuman >Keeps saying that "Videl isn't afraid of guns" despite the fact that she could easily be killed by one. >Refuses to show feats that prove Videl >Krillin. Seriously show me how Videl is going to beat a guy who's capable of jumping 40+ feat from a standstill, react to and defeat a 600+ pound cat blitzing by at 20-30 mph (the blunt force trauma alone would kill a normal person), out swim a shark, dig acres of solid earth with his bare-hands, and consistently keep up with Goku, another superhuman, during Roshi's training? Not being afraid of guns isn't going to cut it. Anyways I'm done with this off-topic conversation. If you feel that Videl could beat Krillin just make a new vs thread or explain your reasoning in the discussion section. Edited by DSTREET45, Sep 7 2014, 07:29 AM.

Can you not understand, that Krillin didn't know he was now superior to the bullies? At first, random no name bullies were superior to Krillin, then, after training and before realizing the gains he made, he was then stronger than them. Why on earth are you comparing that to him being afraid of guys with guns? He didn't make any gains/losses that would have him not knowing how strong he was. This is a terrible argument, generally when we see someone say that they are weaker than someone, after knowing what they can do, they are. He knows what a gun can do, and is terrified of it. Thus clearly, guy with gun > Krillin. Honestly just saying, he didn't know he could beat him reeks of an agenda driven argument that would never be accepted in a versus. When Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, Piccolo etc. simply see what other enemies can do, without fighting them, and say that they can't beat them, it's because they can't. This is the same here, Krillin knows what the gun can do, and knows he can't win. Videl on the other hand, knows that she can. Videl > Krillin. Very simple. Also, after re-reading, particularly the part saying "Krillin had gotten stronger yet he still feels he will lose" I'm thinking you are confused thinking that Krillins training came before he was scared of the 2 guys with guns, that is not the case. Videl doesn't need to be impervious to guns. It's very common in fiction for heros susceptible to guns to be far more competent than the police who all have guns, using their strength/speed/skills, like Batman or Spiderman. It's the same here with Videl. The fact that the police call her phone to ask her to help them apprehend criminals is proof of that. Edited by Android19, Sep 7 2014, 11:41 AM.

One seems to regularly deal with people with guns (and if this case is being used, they dropped their guns anyways) and the other has never dealt with guns before but only heard of them. Not to mentioned, while it was implied that Videl might be stronger than her father, we DO know that guns can kill him (as shone later in the arc). This isn't remotely a strength statement. Videl just needs to be stronger/faster than the guys with the guns...and it helps when they drop them. None of the post Dragonball era earth fighters are even in the same realm as the BODB fighters...this is repeatedly shown. On topic: Krillin wins this. Not easily as Spopovich has flight and some ki abilities. This could give him an advantage just via distance. If Videl can knock his head 180 degrees, this Krillin can take it clear off.
